My emotions and experiences have always driven me to create. And circus is my form of expression. Through exploration of ideas and determined training i find myself on a constant journey of discovery through each process.
I began my training at a young age as a dancer for 11 years which included training with The Royal Ballet Junior Associates.
I was a competitive dancer until the age of 14, competing regularly in such competitions as the world championships for Irish dance, all England dance and the international Classical Greek dance championships.
I started my performing career as a professional dancer working for such companies as Sicknote, the woman of Ireland, CMI entertainment and Hawkwind, as well as working freelance.
After a few years i was introduced to the world of circus with a 6 month contract as a dancer and teacher with Swamp Circus. During this time i began training as an aerialist. I have been lucky enough to perform with such companies as: cirque bijou, baseline circus, circo inferno and Ockhams razor.
I then decided i wanted to improve upon my technique and performance skills and studied for 3 years at The National Centre for Circus Arts in which I gained a foundation and BA hons degree in circus arts.
Having recently graduated i am now exploring and creating my own work.
